last night geo and i watched the great muppet caper. i always forget how funny that movie is. and charles grodin is hot in it (see exhibit a.) i was telling that to mary a few weeks ago because the movie beethoven happened to be on and she thought that was gross. as geo put it, he really commits to the character in the great muppet caper. you really think that he is in love with miss piggy. geo and i like to reenact the part where charles grodin frames miss piggy. i say in a high miss piggy voice, "you did it, you put the jewels there." and geo says in a growly charles grodin voice, "oh no no - oh no no." my sister nancy has a blog and wrote an entry that is very near and dear to my heart. it is about thrift stores and garage sales. read it here. this weekend geo and also i shopped for mattresses. did you know that it's cheaper to buy a car than a mattress? did you know that it's cheaper to buy a space station than to buy a mattress? did you know that i think mattresses are a tad overpriced? and the mattress companies try to get you with those cute little claymation sheeps that are just the most adorable things that i have ever seen? darn all the mattress companies. i don't know how i will ever lead a normal life now. i just want an extremely comfortable place to sleep without paying an arm and a leg. first of all, why would anyone want my arm and/or leg - especially more than the flipping $3,000 they want for a mattress. i doubt that any of my limbs would be able to get that type of price on the black market anyways.
